I recently retired having spent 19 years as the COO/Division Manager of a local Duvall Construction company. The prior 28 after graduating from the UW, were in "white collar" senior management positions in banking, national marketing, consulting and leading one company with offices in Bellevue WA, Springfield Ohio, Sacramento and San Francisco. For 3 years I influenced the reshaping of another company in Hunt Valley Maryland. Prior to the local Duvall construction company , I deviated for 6 years to become the Executiive Pastor for a local faith organization.
Having hired Alana to a construction Project Manager position, is where I observed the characteristics I mentioned earlier. I saw first hand how she demonstrated the willingness to learn, accept new challenges, manage through conflict and perform at a high level in a tough industry, while never compromising her core values!
